1982 Mustang GT
My last project for a while. Its getting a complete makeover including engine, trans, brakes, etc. from a 2004 Mach 1. I've been wanting to do this swap for a long time. I bought my GT in 1988 when I was 17 and I have always said I will never sell it! So don't ask! ;) It has been parked since 1996. I have done many other projects and it is now time to get my mustang back to where it deserves to be. I'm very excited about this project!
Here she is. I know it looks sad but believe me...it wont be for long!
The front end is in good shape except for that nasty gash I put in it on my 18th B-day. Man...was I bummed. Stupid rain!
I already sold the 85 GT 302 that was in it. I have the original 5.0 but I don't know if its worth keeping?
The interior is not the greatest. It's been acting as its own storage shed for years.
It has a 03 Cobra IRS in it now but I don't think I am going to keep it in there.
Here is the donor car. Its almost a shame to take it apart...almost.
